Follow Friday & Blog Hop 1/10

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee.

For more details on this great meme, check out her fantastic blog here.
If you are a new follower, please leave a comment so I can check out your blog.
And check out the interview I did with Lauren Kate here. Her new book "Torment" is amazing and was released in the UK yesterday. I will post my review of it tomorrow.

Another meme I am participating in, is the weekly blog hop, hosted by Crazy for Books.

Book Blogger Hop

This week's question: How do you spread the word about your blog?

I have learned from the "masters", if I can say that. Which means, when I was new to blogging I visited a lot of blogs that have been up and running for quite some time, to learn from them. I read all I found on book blogging, etiquette and other relevant stuff and off course articles about how to promote your blog.

I have a twitter account for this blog, and one for my Norwegian blog. I also try to leave relevant comments on other blogs, because that may generate some visitors for this blog. I also try to participate in meme' s, challenges and other events. I also use Goodreads. You need to put yourself out there in order to be seen. I am not so good at this all the time, but I try.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Just popping in via the hop to say hi! I did the same thing when I started, went around to established blogs and looked at how they did things, and then once I found a bunch of blogs I really enjoyed I made sure to leave meaningful comments:) Love the look of your blog, your little book rating system is too cute! I'm glad to be a new follower of yours and I look forward to reading more reviews!

Hello, stopping by from the blog hop and Follow Friday. I'm a new follower and it looks like I'll be busy reading through your archives as you're reading a lot of the books that I've been curious about.

Happy Friday!

I love your blog! I read your "About Me" and I also am a compulsive book buyer..even when I have tons of books to read at home. It is a real problem :/ Oh well!

I love to get an international perspective on books and am excited to be a new follower. It sounds like you do a lot to promote your blog. I have tried Twitter but have found that I am terrible at it.

Enjoy the hop!

Happy HOP! When I first started blogging, I just stayed still and hoped the universe would send people. I finally stumbled across the HOP and it opened me up to the wonderful world of weekly memes. What a great way to meet people, see fabulous sites and share a little about yourself. People visit you when you take the time to visit them :) It's really helped me.

Hope you enjoy your weekend ! Come HOP by my blog and visit

Just stopping by from the Hop! I was lucky enough when I started to actually be friends with one of the major book bloggers (I was using a different blog than I'm at now though...) and she gave me some "publicity" as well as some tips on general etiquette, etc. I love the name of your blog!

Hi, I'm visiting on the Hop :)

I love the chance to meet bloggers from non-English speaking countries (though my Norwegian friend tells me English is common in Norway?), especially to hear about new books that have hopefully been translated ;) - the Hop is great for that isn't it. So it's great to meet you!

Ack! I can't imagine running two different versions of one blog! I would mix things up all the time, lol!

I always worry about taking advice on 'proper etiquette' from others... mainly because I've run into people who are waaaay more uptight than others, and what they consider the rudest of rude is just common practice elsewhere! I don't want to be rude, but I also don't want to make myself crazy trying not to be, lol!!

New follower here!!
