Follow Friday & Book Blogger Hop 15/4 - 17/4

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee. For more information, visit this post.

This week's question: Do you have anyone that you can discuss books with IRL? Tell us about him/her.

When it comes to the YA - genre, no. That is the reason I started a blog in the first place. I wantet a place to keep track of all the books I read, and discuss them with others.

The hop is hosted by Crazy for books.

Book Blogger Hop

This week's question: "Pick a character from a book you are currently reading or have just finished and tell us about him/her."

I am currently almost finished with Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys.

The main character, Lina, and her family are arrested and deported to Siberia during WWII. The book is hard to put down, and heartwrenching. Lina is fifteen years old, and have dreams and hopes about the future. She is also a talented painter. During the book, she changes a lot because of the things she experiences, but she still manage to be strong.

Have a grea weekend, everyone :)

I'm a new follower- and I love your blog name! I clicked because I got interested :)

I want to read between shades of grey so bad... but it's probably going to be emotionally draining- still, if it's a good book, it's worth reading.

Hey there, Norwegian book girl ;) I just found your blog through Parajunkee's FF and I am now a new follower!

I am pretty much the same, I wanted to start a book blog in order to meet other book-lovers like me, and to have a record of all the books that I've read and what I thought about them. Nice to meet you!

Feel free to check out my blog and my FF for this week at LC's Adventures in Libraryland

Hope you have a great weekend and I look forward to seeing your reviews!

@jules: Yes, the cover is really great and it captiures some of the aspects of this book so well.

@Carrie: You too :)!

@Rida: It is an emotionally draining book. I have cried a few times.I have read it whilst being in London, away from by boyfriend, and I really feel like curling up next to him now. It is a book that will stay with you for a while, and not a book you should read on the tube or subway

@Khadija: You did? That I must read :O)

@Alison: It is a book it is hard to put down. Looking forward to your review :)

@Lea: Nice to meet you too, and I love the name of your blog :) I never really thought I was going to be so addicted to blogging, but I am loving it :) Have a great weekend!

New follower.
Not having someone to discuss books with was also what made me create a blog so I could meet fellow readers. Great blog, I look forward to reading your reviews.
Have a great weekend,
Erika @ Let's talk about books

I completely understand why you created a blog because of loneliness. I started for pretty much the same reason!

Happy Reading! :)

I really really want to read that book. I haven't bought it yet, but I will. I love reading books set during WWII.
